Creating books is what I love to do the most. In 2013, in co-authorship with the girls from the Kovcheg orphanage, Finch Agency, and Wowhouse I produced this book for which I also wrote a fairy tale.
The trick of this book is that not only does the story become the basis for the illustrations, but the children's drawings influenced the creation of the tale. I worked in close contact with the children from Kovcheg orphanage: and tasked them to make pictures for the story about the friendship between a boy and a small bird. Then compiled the book from plenty of drawings of various sizes; some elements were enlarged more than tenfold. Then he re-wrote the tale to fit well in the illustrative sequence; then produced lettering for all the spreads. The book was sold for the benefit of the Kovcheg orphanage.
